DVD Review: That '70s Show: Season One, with Mila Kunis DVDAnswers.com - DVD Reviews - That '70s Show: Season One (Region 2): "The key ingredient to That '70s Show's success is its cast. When the show started back in 1998, the majority of the players were young and unknown, but most have experienced some form of breakout success sense. Topher Grace (Traffic, In Good Company) stars as Eric Forman, the main focus of the series and for most early episodes its consonant straight man. Eric is often in the company of his strong willed and fun-loving girlfriend Donna, played by the lovely Laura Prepon (Slackers). The couple is joined in Eric’s family basement by a rogues gallery of archetype friends: the cool troublemaker, Hyde (played by Danny Masterson, who was beaten silly by John Travolta in Face/Off), the goofy, good looking guy, Kelso (the now infamously famous Ashton Kutcher), the ditzy shallow girl, Jackie (Mila Kunis, who also voices Meg Griffin on Family Guy), and the clueless exchange student with the funny accent, Fez (Wilmer Valderra, who unfortunately does not have the funny accent in real life). Kunis slams Gyllenhaal for 9/11 comments THAT - KUNIS SLAMS GYLLENHAAL FOR 911 COMMENTS: "THAT '70S SHOW star MILA KUNIS has slammed MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL for her controversial 11 September (01) comments, insisting the actress should present the world with a 'solution' rather than a problem. The SECRETARY actress recently sparked controversy after declaring that her native America 'is responsible in some way' for the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington DC. She added, '(September 11 was) an occasion to be brave enough to ask some serious questions about America's role in the world. Because it is always useful as individuals or nations to ask how we may have knowingly or unknowingly contributed to this conflict. 'Not to have the courage to ask these questions of ourselves is to betray the victims of 9/11.' But Ukrainian-born Kunis, who calls MACAULAY CULKIN her boyfriend, is horrified with Gyllenhaal's comments. She says, 'Don't you think that, like, if you're gonna pose a problem, pose the solution? All she's saying that is that we're at fault but she's not saying how to solve this problem. 'She's an actress, who cares? It's not like she has any political training or any education. 'But she was honest and you gotta respect (that). If you don't like her comment, don't listen to it.'" 4.06.2005

FOX renews "That 70's Show", with Mila Kunis, for an eighth season the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource: "Fox Broadcasting Company has ordered an eighth season of the comedy series THAT '70s SHOW, it was announced today by Gail Berman, President, Entertainment. The nostalgic series airs Wednesdays (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT). 'THAT '70s SHOW is one of the strongest comedies on television,' said Executive Producer Tom Werner. 'I am thrilled that this outstanding ensemble is returning next season. After all, it's only 1979.' THAT '70s SHOW revolves around a group of friends growing up and becoming young adults in the suburbs of Wisconsin. But rites of passage aren't all that easy at a time when jumpsuits and platforms are the epitome of cool. The gang includes: Everyman ERIC FORMAN (Topher Grace); his independent girlfriend DONNA (Laura Prepon); the good-looking but gullible KELSO (Ashton Kutcher); conspiracy theorist HYDE (Danny Masterson); Hyde's peppy girlfriend JACKIE (Mila Kunis); and FEZ (Wilmer Valderrama), the foreign kid who's soaking up American culture like a sponge. There's also Eric's stern father RED (Kurtwood Smith); upbeat mother KITTY (Debra Jo Rupp); and Donna's dad BOB (Don Stark), who has a penchant for perms and medallions." 1.06.2005
Preview of Family Guy's "The Real Quahog", with Mila Kunis, on Jan. 16, 2005 the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource: "Adam West And Jennifer Tilly Make Guest Voice Appearances. When Meg decides her family has embarrassed her one too many times, she turns the tables by exposing them on a talk show. The Griffins create such a sensation on the show that the network executives decide to turn their outrageous life into a reality series on the FAMILY GUY episode 'Fifteen Minutes of Shame' Sunday, Jan. 16 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FG-208) (TV-14 D, L, S, V) " 10.27.2004
That '70s Show: Season 1, with Mila Kunis, DVD Review DVD Talk > Reviews > That '70s Show: Season 1: "The rest of Eric's friends are made up of Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), a clueless dumbstruck pretty boy, Jackie Beulah Burkhart (Mila Kunis), a rich stuck-up snob with no shame, Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson), an average I hate everything kind of guy, and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), a foreign exchange student who is learning the American way of life. Their interactions add a lot to the series. Hyde is a great character, because he's so cynical and he's constantly cracking jokes on his friends. Fez is always making you laugh, because his translation of English is sketchy. More frequently than not he misses a few things in translation, which results in a few funny statements. Jackie isn't well liked by the gang. Her personality tends to drive people away, except for Kelso. He seems to be captivated by her beauty. For this reason, they're behind a lot of Hyde's jokes. Furthermore, Kelso just says and does some pretty stupid things that make you laugh. Together the cast provides some great characters that are both funny and likeable. Their interactions with each other are amazing, in just how they can turn boring daily situations into a laugh fest. " 9.13.2004
'That 70's Show', with Mila Kunis, delaying farewell? New York Post Online Edition: entertainment: "'As of right now we don't, but at the same time there'd be no reason not to - except that it's just kind of been planned since last year that this would be the last season.' Masterson, 28, says if there were to be another season, he'd like some sort of guarantee that the show would stay the same as it's been. 'That '70s Show' is one of the few series that has managed to avoid getting too weird or going downhill as it's aged. No matter where Fox has placed the show on its schedule over the years, the ratings for 'That '70s Show' have always remained solid. And since its debut in 1998, the show has brought fame and fortune to the its six stars - Masterson, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Laura Prepon, Wilma Vladerrama and most especially Ashton Kutcher.
